Last Thursday, Brian and the team welcomed the C3 Partners onto the famous Manton gallops to watch Pack It In work. The morning was attended by Jimmy Fortune, Dane O'Neill and Hayley Turner, among the usual members of the team. The sun was shining, excitement was high, and Pack It In did not disappoint, completing a nice piece of work with a couple of other promising two-year-olds.
The Partners also had the chance to watch other horses work, including the likes of Tawdheef and Harvard Man. When the string had made its way back down to the group, Pack It In was ready to enjoy his well-earned pick of grass and, like the last time the Partners visited, he lapped up all the attention from his owners, standing proud and enjoying all the fuss he was receiving.
Continuously fulfilling all is asked of him at this stage of his career, the owners left Manton with the deserved excitement for the undoubted potential that Pack It In possesses. He has stepped up his work this week, and shown that he is still learning the game, so he might need a little longer before he is ready to run. The aim is now for him to run mid to late July.
