April Update

With the turf flat season having kicked off at Doncaster two weeks ago for the Lincoln meeting, excitement in each yard in the country is increasing with all the young horses stepping up their work for the season ahead.  This is no different at Manton, with our string of over 35 two-year-olds, each one representing a hope or dream for someone, whether this is of the lad that looks after it or rides it out, the trainer, their owner, or a group of owners.

'Pack It In' is representing a group of owners associated with C3 House at Marlborough College, and for many of them it represents a maiden voyage into racehorse ownership. The gorgeous Big Bad Bob colt will be the source of this year's excitement, and at this stage, everything is going to plan. He has had the last few weeks off and he is currently back cantering.  He will be stepping up to fast work over the next few weeks and a maiden race will be the first port of call.
